A Big W for the Nomads!

After a good game for Plebs it was time for the B-squad, the Nomads to step up against Berserkers Mens* for one last match of the big day, this one a men's+ match. Filling the ranks with most of the Plebs Impact, those who did not make it and some younger players they were helmed by captain Simon Ståhl and fought with vigour in their bones. A couple of players who had already played the Plebs match also joined in during times.

The match started of with the Nomads kicking off and saw them scoring five tries, one leading to a successful conversation, while conceding two which both had successful conversation following them creating a half time score of 27-14 in our favor.

While there were scrums aplenty there were few lineouts on either side. The Nomads pack unfortunately had some slippery times in the front row which impacted the scrums but that little detail was not only saved in the first half by hard work but also negated in the second half as Lasse changed his boots.

Second half brought some changes to the lineup of the Nomads who continued to fight like dogs of war. The total result was seven more tries of which five were followed up by successful conversions, opposing two tries and one successful conversion leading to the total result being 70-26 in our Nomads favor. Moments of note included Bulten's clearance kick from own 5-meter line to own 10-meter line and a extraordinarily chaotic ruck from which Lieth and Grillan gained several meters of ground.

Top scorer and man of the match was captain Ståhl while dick of the day went to Bulten.
