This past Sunday, rookies and experienced players alike traveled from central Sweden to play a practice game in Enköping. 

Power struggle

The whole game was a definite test of character. We let in points (obviously more than we’d like), but we never got deterred from doing our job on the pitch: keeping structure, moving ball and pushing in defense. Exiles eventually won 66-0 – an improvement since last time round.

In Berserkers shirts for today

Back with a bang after the summer break - Uppsala/Berserkers travelled to Enköping to resume the 15’s season. Both teams had some trouble filling the team sheet (always the case in August) and showed up with 1 sub each, fielding a few rookies. The final result was 38–17 to Enköping, but the progress and the fighting spirit in the team made it feel more like a win.

This year’s squad could boast about an influx of players from the junior section – young legs and good hands is just what you need during sevens! Uppsala ended up in 6^th place and, compared to last year, this was (both execution and results) an improvement.

Despite the cancelled 7s qualifier this weekend, the ladies still got some good 7s games in. Rallying up 13 players from Uppsala ladies team, F18, F15 (!!) and one Berserker and two Erikslund players, the team had a great opportunity for internal training games.
