Efter domarens visselsignal drämde Stewart, lagets kapten, iväg en närmast perfekt kick som Uppsala knycker tillbaka och säkrar rucken. Forwardsen missade inte denna möjlighet och efter några snabba pick and go fick Davis bollen och på sina ekstockar till ben slog han igenom Exiles försvar likt ett bowlingklot på en nyoljad bowlingbana – en fin pass till Jacob och första försöket var gjort! Exiles var inte sena att komma tillbaka in i matchen och efter en scrum på 10m-linjen sprang deras 10:a (som inte bara var kvick i huvet utan också i benen) in ett försök och kvitterade. Dom satte också sparken: det står nu 5-7 till Exiles.

Båda lagen fortsätter kämpa på bra men efter en hög tackling från Exiles får Uppsala en straffspark som Saul sätter mitt mellan stolparna! Efter avsparken spelar Jean-Rémi (Jär) fantastiskt och får betalt för mödan och gör försök! Sparken efter försöket ger också utdelning. Uppsala tror att dom börjar ta ett järngrepp på matchen men Exiles kommer tillbaka med stormsteg. Efter några starka löpningar från Exiles andrecenter, som ser ut att äta murbruk till frukost och skita eldfast tegel efter lunch, gör dom försök ute på kanten i ett oorganiserat Uppsalaförsvar. Efter några ordentliga klunkar vatten och ett inspirerande taktiktal av Davis kickar Exiles igång matchen igen. Uppsala fångar bollen, säkrar rucken och spelar med snabba händer ut den i backlinjen. Bollen kommer till Anton som på sina välsvarvade spiror far i väg som ett skållat ollon och efter en löpning på 50m genom Exiles försvar gör han försök! Uppsala är tillbaka! Efter avsparken är Uppsala på hugget och plöjer sig fram mot försökslinjen. Efter snabba passar från forwardsen Niclas och Pelle kommer bollen ut till Anton igen. Han gör ett sidestep som hade fått en normalbyggd person att bryta både fotleden och knät. Exiles försvar går och köper korv medans ett nytt försök blir gjort!

Exiles börjar bli trötta men inte Uppsala! Några minuter senare får Joel bollen och zickzackar sig på ett specialsätt genom försvaret. Publiken blir helt vild och läktaren börjar vika sig under deras tyngd! Ett öronbedövande skrik hörs från publiken när Joel sätter ner bollen i hörnet på försöksområdet och gör sitt första försök för Uppsala!

Upprymda av publikens entusiasm fortsätter Uppsala starkt. Efter en pass ut till backlinjen får Anton bollen som skickar en sjukhuspass till lagets rookie Serwan – ett sus går genom publiken... MEN! Idag verkar det som om Serwan har satt Karlssons superklister på händerna. Han fångar bollen, gör en snabb löpning och steppar in mot planen - det krävs inte mindre än tre Exilesspelare för att få stopp på honom. Uppsala säkrar rucken och Joel spelar bollen till Stewart som verkar tro att han har en ny lönespecifikation i försöksområdet för han är där innan försvaret hinner blinka.

I sista minuten knycker Saul åt sig bollen och lyckas göra ett sista försök för Uppsala. Domaren blåser av matchen och Uppsala vinner med 45-14! Solen skiner, humöret är på topp och ölen är källarsval. Vilken dag!
