The 7s season for URFC ladies maybe didn't produce the results we wanted (a f-n win would've been good!), but all these warm ups, matches and weekends has for sure made the team gel together and get to know eachothers playing styles a bit better. The quality of play in the last game of the finals was a whole different story than when the team started off in the first qualification round back in June!

7s finals in Stockholm saw your girls in blue give all opposition a good run for their money. They initially lost against Kalmar/Södertälje 5-20, Plate winners Lugi 5-25 and Gothenburg 5-20 before the last game on the Saturday, where they pushed Exiles hard, but made a few costly mistakes and lost 5-17. This meant playing only one game on the Sunday for the Bowl title. Result was an extremely disappointing loss 12-17 against Hammarby after leading 12-0 at half time. It's safe to say the team learned a lot and will bounce back stronger next year!
