About Uppsala Rugby FC

Uppsala Rugby Football Club, or Plebs as the club is commonly known, is one Sweden's oldest rugby clubs, founded already in 1965. During the early years the club was very successful and became swedish champions in 1969, 1970 Koch 1977. The club has also produced a number of national players during the years.

Today Uppsala RFC has about one hundred active members. Both the men's and the ladies team play in the highest division in Sweden and the ladies team has played the swedish champions final both in 2005 and 2007, both years receiving the silver medal.

There is also a continuous effort to requite new youth players, even if the youth team is relatively new and small scale.

Uppsala RFC have a club house that is used frequently for traditional dinners with the visiting team after matches as well as a rugby pitch with stands.
